We are proud to announce the addition of a new valuable member to our Audit team. Mohamed Mejai joined the Qatar office on March 1, 2018 as Audit Senior manager, further strengthening Mazars' commitment to quality and technical excellence.
Mr. Mejai has a Master’s in Business Administration from the State University of New York. He was previously employed with Mazars France as Financial Audit Manager (for 2 years) and earlier with Orfis Baker Tilly (for 5 years) in France and also with Ernst & Young in Paris and Algiers for (5 years)
He is also a MAM ambassador. He possess more than 12 years of experience in the field of audit and has strong experience of SOX environments.

Very exciting day today. Our IT auditors Dindo Geron and Salman Younus conducted training today November 23 2017 at Mazars Qatar office for our financial auditors how to conduct an IT General Controls (ITGC) audit for their clients. Hopefully our auditors gained knowledge to conduct IT General Controls audit by themselves.
The second part of this training was about audit programs and other working papers and methodologies used in conducting an IT General Controls audit.
Mazars joined the Education City Career Fair 2017. This is a great opportunity for students and alumni to meet local, regional and international employers, and learn about exciting career prospects across a wide range of business sectors.
The objective for organizing this joint initiative is to provide students at all levels of learning within Education City the opportunity to engage with representatives. This collaborative event also aims to inspire dialogue and community-building between industry and education.

Tuesday, December 13, 2016 - Mazars welcome the students of Qatar University, College of Business and Economics for visiting our office as part of their educational field trip.
We thank Hatem Elsafty (Mazars Partner, GRIC) and Ahmed Ali ( Mazars Senior Auditor) and Dr. Emad Awadallah (Associate Professor of Accounting, Qatar University) for heading this activity.
The aim of their visit is to introduce the students to the office, hierarchy, services provided, MAZARS methodology when auditing the financial statements, any other areas that may deem relevant.
On Monday, November 14, 2016, Mazars, in the presence of His Excellency Eric Chevallier, French Ambassador to Qatar celebrated the 5th anniversary and launch of new office premises of Mazars in Qatar.
